The theme of the 2024's BCA (British Crystallographic Association) Spring Meeting is “Breaking Barriers”. This is an obvious refence to the exciting developments in crystallography field, with amazing new technologies and computational techniques allowing scientists to investigate areas previously inaccessible. But it also refers to the need to make crystallography more inclusive by removing those constraints which limit access to the techniques and results of scientific work.
