CrystalDOSE

Automated liquid dosing module

Optimize lab productivity and efficiency by automating liquid dosing for precise and controlled solvent addition during crystallization experiments

Smart automated dosing module

CrystalDOSE is an automated liquid dosing module specially designed for the Crystalline instrument, enabling precise and controlled solvent addition during crystallization experiments.

Each unit features four independently operated syringe pumps. Up to two units can be configured per Crystalline, providing up to eight dosing pumps. The system supports 1 mL disposable syringes and 5 mL disposable or glass syringes, with dosing volumes from 10 µL to 5,000 µL and dosing rates from 0.1 to 500 µL/s. Up to two syringes can be assigned to each reactor, enabling the controlled addition of two different liquids.

How does it work?

Dosing profiles can be programmed directly within the Crystalline software, providing flexible and reproducible control of complex crystallization workflows, with precise control over dosing volume and addition rate. Precise solvent addition supports antisolvent crystallization, seed slurry addition, acid/base dosing for pH adjustment, and other controlled-addition processes.

Accurate dosing enables researchers to investigate how addition rate, composition, and timing influence nucleation, crystal growth, particle size, morphology, and polymorphic form.
