Real-time temperature monitoring is essential for accurately characterizing exothermic and endothermic reactions, particularly during rapid thermal transitions.
This study evaluates the measurement and control of temperature in these reactions using ReactALL’s contactless Thermopile technology. The results were compared to the ones obtained using a conventional temperature probe.
Unlike conventional temperature probes, thermopile technology eliminates contamination, prevents mechanical interference, and avoids thermal lag, making it especially well-suited for small-volume and sensitive reaction systems. ReactALL combines contactless thermopile technology with automated sampling to enable non-invasive thermal profiling and precise temperature control – without disturbing the reaction environment. In addition, the integration of this technology streamlines workflows, reduces manual intervention, and prepares the system for future automation.
