Content overview

Developing and optimizing pharmaceutical processes requires a strong understanding of reaction kinetics to improve efficiency, control impurities, and enable reliable scale-up. However, generating high-quality kinetic data remains challenging due to limitations in many laboratory platforms, particularly in achieving representative mixing, precise temperature control, and reproducible sampling.

The ReactALL™ workstation was developed to address this gap by enabling automated, medium-throughput experimentation with representative reaction conditions. By combining overhead stirring, accurate temperature control, and automated timeresolved sampling, the platform supports the generation of structured, data-rich datasets suitable for kinetic analysis.

This application note summarizes evaluation studies reported by Argüelles et al., which assessed the system’s performance in temperature control, solvent retention, sampling reproducibility, and experiment reproducibility – key factors required for reliable kinetic data generation.
